ou’ve been walking through the badlands for three days. None of your surroundings have changed. The valley disappeared halfway through the first day. Now your legs are weak, your mouth is dry. You’ve been conservative; you still have half of your water supply. You can still make it back to the valley, or risk going further into this desolation… Wait, you then see something, a glinting object just at the foot of the rise you’re standing on. You climb down and find a cracked mirror. Looking into it, you see reflections, not of yourself, but of pictures, each more horrible than the next. Then behind you, you hear a voice. “I see you’ve found the mirror.” Spinning around, there’s no one there. Except for a skull. The skull says to you, “Perhaps you would like to find out how a skull and a mirror happen to be in this place? It’s quite a tale, along with many others that I’d be happy to share with you.” What do you choose to do? Talk to the skull Look into the mirror again Go back to the valley before you run out of water
